Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 August 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the EasyRisk.io service (the "Service") operated by Swiss Security Hub AG, Konradshalde 6, 8832 Wilen b. Wollerau, Switzerland ("we", "us"). EasyRisk is a product of Swiss Security Hub AG. By creating an account or subscribing to a paid plan you agree to these Terms.
The Service is offered to businesses, public bodies and other professional users only. It is not offered to consumers, and a contract with a consumer within the meaning of Art. 32 of the Swiss Civil Procedure Code is excluded. By creating an account and by placing an order you confirm that you are acting in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession, and on behalf of the organization whose workspace you register. We may refuse a contract or suspend an account if that is not the case, or ceases to be.
2. The Service
EasyRisk.io is an ISO 31000-aligned operational risk register. We offer a Free plan and paid plans. What each plan includes is described on the pricing page and in your workspace under Billing.
3. Accounts
You must be authorized to act for the organization you register on behalf of (section 1), and you must provide accurate information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Do not upload unlawful content or personal data you have no right to process.
- Do not use the Service to send spam or malware.
5. Editors, Viewers and seats
Paid plans are priced per Editor. An Editor is a workspace member who can create or change risks — this includes members with the Admin role, who hold every Editor right on top of managing the workspace, and who therefore use a seat like any other Editor. A Viewer can read risks and, on paid plans, comment. Viewers do not use a seat; the number of viewers is capped per plan. A member who holds an editing role on several risk boards counts once.
Your workspace is billed for the number of Editors it has, with a minimum of one. We recount your Editors whenever a role changes, and again in a daily reconciliation, and adjust your subscription accordingly. The current count is shown on the Billing page in your workspace.
6. Fees, billing and renewal
- Prices are shown in euro (EUR) and are exclusive of VAT and of any other taxes and duties. Any tax due is shown before you confirm the purchase.
- Customers domiciled in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein are charged Swiss VAT at the applicable rate. Customers domiciled abroad are invoiced without Swiss VAT; taxation in their country of residence is their own responsibility.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually as you choose, for the number of Editors in your workspace.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for a further term of the same length until they are canceled. There is no notice period — see section 7.
- Adding an Editor during a term is charged pro rata for the remainder of that term. Removing an Editor, or moving to a cheaper plan, produces a pro rata credit.
- Credits are applied to your account balance and reduce your next invoice. They are not paid out. Apart from these credits, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's systems; we never receive or store card numbers. Invoices and payment methods are available in the billing portal linked from your workspace.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and your plan continues during those retries. If payment ultimately fails, the subscription ends and the workspace moves to the Free plan, with the consequences in section 8.
- We may change our prices. A change takes effect at your next renewal and we will tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand. If you do not accept the new price, cancel before that renewal date.
7. Changing or canceling your plan
- Upgrades and moves to a cheaper paid plan take effect immediately and are prorated as described in section 6.
- Switching between monthly and annual billing works the same way: the unused remainder of the current term is credited and the new term charged.
- Canceling takes effect at the end of the term you have already paid for. You keep full access until then, after which the workspace moves to the Free plan. There is no partial refund for the remainder of the term. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page, and we will never refuse a cancellation.
- A move to a smaller paid plan is refused while your workspace exceeds that plan's limits. Reduce first, then switch.
- Enterprise plans are arranged with us directly and are governed by the agreement signed with them; these Terms apply in addition, unless that agreement provides otherwise.
8. Plan limits and read-only mode
Every plan limits how many Editors, Viewers and active risk boards a workspace may have. A workspace can end up over those limits — most commonly after canceling a paid plan, because cancellation is never refused on capacity grounds.
Exceeding the Viewer limit has one consequence only: no further Viewers can be added. Everyone who already has read access keeps it, and nothing else about the workspace changes. Only the Editor and risk-board limits lead to the read-only mode described next.
When you are over the Editor or risk-board limit you have 3 days to bring the workspace back within them, by archiving risk boards or changing Editors to Viewers. After those 3 days the workspace becomes read-only: everything remains visible and can be exported, but risks, treatment actions and comments can no longer be created or changed. Nothing is deleted and we do not change anyone's role.
The restriction lifts automatically as soon as the workspace fits its plan again, or as soon as you subscribe to a plan that accommodates it.
9. Your data
You retain all rights to the data you enter. We process it as described in the Privacy Policy. You can request an export of your workspace data at any time by writing to hello@easyrisk.io, including while a workspace is read-only; we provide it in a structured, machine-readable format.
10. Availability and warranties
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We further reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts at any time and without prior notice where we reasonably consider them inactive, unverified, spam, fraudulent, or otherwise created to abuse the Service.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will announce material changes in the app or by email before they take effect; continued use of the Service after that date means you accept them. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and the conflict-of-law rules of the Swiss Private International Law Act. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Wollerau (Bezirk Höfe), canton of Schwyz, Switzerland. Mandatory places of jurisdiction remain reserved.
